I am a life-cycle interfaith minister, spiritual health practitioner and chaplain providing ritual, ceremony and counseling to people in the Twin Cities and beyond.
I specialize in all types of weddings, especially those that involve multi-faith and multi-cultural elements, and I am LGBTQ+ friendly. My role as officiant is to help you tell the story of your love and commitment, and lift up what is important for your friends and family to know. My greatest joy is to make you and your guests feel deeply welcome at the ceremony, a provide a sense of calm and joy to the couple.
While it is not necessary to have an officiant present at a funeral or memorial service, one can be invaluable to allow friends and family to be fully present at the service and not have to worry about leading. I will meet you and your family in a way that is meaningful and relevant to your sense of spirituality, and help you tell the story of your loved one who has died. I am also available for hospital visits as requested.
Dreaming of a way to bless or baptize your little ones, but don't belong to a church? Let's talk! I have many options for a beautiful and meaningful event. Baptisms are certified and can be accepted in most mainline Protestant denominations. Blessings are a meaningful way to get loved ones together and formally welcome a new child to the family!
Using the Prepare/Enrich inventory, we meet to focus on communication and conflict resolution skills in a relaxed and informal environment. Add to your relationship toolbox in these customized, personalized sessions.
How do you make sense and meaning out of your spiritual path? Take advantage of my listening skills to openly explore and engage with your own unique connection through story, metaphor, tradition and symbolism.
What happens when we lose a colleague? Help your team begin the process of healing - and show your deep concern for their well being - by inviting me to come to your offices and offer spiritually open, informal 1:1 listening sessions for your employees who are grieving.
Allowing oneself the time and space to talk freely about the feelings involved with grief and loss is one of the best ways to honor the love and relationships changed through death. Whether you have lost a friend, family member, colleague, or pet, we can start or continue the process toward peace, meaning-making, and a new way to relate to those who have gone before us.
Utilizing my own oracle and tarot cards, or your personal favorite deck, let's get together to see what the universe is communicating to you! I offer you my well-honed sense of intuition and knowledge of symbolism - both spiritual and secular - to seek your way to enlightened ideas and healing.
Prepare/Enrich offers an exciting new way to review the priorities and growth areas in your marriage. Take the inventory, and I will facilitate a session to explore the results and update your communication skills for a more connected and satisfying union.
Prepare/Enrich offers an assessment for couples who are parenting children, whether biological, adopted, or the blending of families. It focuses on the need for balance in the family between the marriage and parenting. After taking the inventory, we can have a session to explore the results and discover mutually beneficial ways to strike that balance.
People in healthcare (nurses, doctors, EMTs, etc.) and death care (funeral directors, death doulas) experience extraordinarily difficult and challenging situations as part of their normal daily workday. I am a skilled listener, with years of experience caring for ER staff, who can hold your story with you in order to process and heal.

I am an ordained interfaith minister and chaplain. In interfaith seminary, I studied worldwide faiths and traditions extensively. I have received a Master of Divinity with an emphasis on Interfaith Chaplaincy from The United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities, which focused on intercultural/interreligious studies, grief and loss, and spiritual transformation. For the past 14 years, I have officiated hundreds of weddings, and attended to many patients in the hospital setting and in behavioral health.
I approach my practice, not as a therapist, but as an empathetic and supportive presence as you endeavor to experience the light and connection meant for you. If I encounter a therapeutic issue, I will refer clients to a reputable therapist.
As an interfaith practitioner, I walk with you on your spiritual path - to celebrate with you, grieve with you, seek and find, with you and for you.
Interfaith spirituality responds to the mystery of what is beyond our full understanding. It is how we connect to something bigger than ourselves. For many people, that is God or a higher power. For many others, it is nature, culture, community, friends and family, art, ancestry, to name a few. All ways are valid and important, and worthy of exploration. As an interfaith minister, I do not tell you what is right. Instead I lean into what is right for you, and affirm your particular understanding.
I would love to hear from you to learn more about your needs! Please send me a message with your inquiry, and include any pertinent details such as date of event, type of counseling, or questions you may have. I will respond to you ASAP!
